An old tailor sends his three sons into the world to find work.
The youngest son works with a carpenter and pays him with a magical table, the second son finds work with a miller who pays him a magic donkey, and the oldest son finds work with a woodsman who pays him a magical stick. All the while, a greedy innkeeper is trying to steal their fortune.
