Our standard policies for buying and trading books
We are discerning about the books we accept from the public, favoring those in excellent condition and high demand within our inventory. New books purchased from us are eligible for trade-in if they remain in good and sellable condition.
How to trade your books

We’ll schedule a convenient time for you to visit our truck in-person for trade-ins.
If you simply have books you’d like to part with and do not need trade-in, just drop us an email, and we’ll arrange a pick-up date. We donate books to several places where diverse books are needed for families that don’t have access to books of their very own. If you’d like your books to go to donation, please specify in the email.

What are trade-ins valued at?
If trade-in books are in excellent condition, we are happy to apply a 10% discount on a purchase of a new book at the time of trade-in. If you are trading in multiple books, we will apply an additional 10% for each book up to a maximum of 30% discount on a purchase of a new book at the time of trade-in.
